The iPhone is a great device for getting on the internet when out and about. So it goes without saying that you’ll be able to access this beautiful Zooey D fansite on it! Simply open up you iPhone’s Safari application and type the site’s address or access it using a bookmark, just as you would at home.
Due to iPhone limitations, I recommend you whip your iPhone into landscape view while browsing the internet, it looks much better. Remember to pinch to zoom!

Add a Web Clip to your Home Screen
Did you know, you can save this website to your iPhone (or iPod Touch) homepage just like an application? Simply make sure you are on the ‘Home’ (http://zooeyd.co.uk) page* using your iPhone’s Safari browser, tap the + button at the bottom, then tap Add to Home Screen. You will see the site icon and the title. For best results rename the title to something like Zooey or TSA Zooey.
The website link will then be on your homepage, just tap the icon of Zooey to visit! You can move the icon as you would with any other app.
* Saving from the Home page means the site will load the home page when started up. If saved on any other page, then you’ll keep getting that page first! Unless that’s what you want…?!
Get Wallpapers, Backgrounds or a Mobile Gallery
The iPhone has a versatile photos application built in. Navigate to the iPhone Pictures page to download an assortment of pictures of Zooey and sync them to your iPhone! These can be used as standby wallpaper, caller images, backgrounds for other applications or even just as a mobile picture gallery.
Play Zooey’s Films
If you have DVDs of Zooey’s films and you’d like to watch them on your iPhone, this is really easy to do. You can copy the DVD into iTunes, and then copy onto your iPhone! To find out how to do this with an excellent piece of software called Handbrake, please read the guide I have written on my personal website.
Do you have a copy of (500) Days of Summer? Well this DVD comes with a digital copy on it – simply insert the DVD into your computer, open iTunes and follow the instructions!
Of course, you can also download films direct using the iTunes app on your iPhone although you’re limited to where you can play it! DVDs are more versatile.
Watch Zooey Clips
I expect you’ve noticed your iPhone has a YouTube application. So it goes without saying, if you’re in a good 3G network or connected to Wi-Fi you can watch a wide assortment of Zooey Deschanel clips just like you would on youtube.com on your computer.
Play Zooey’s Music
Own Zooey’s music, whether it’s her film soundtracks, She & Him CDs or downloads? Make sure they are in iTunes on your computer then you can sync them to your iPhone. Although to be honest, I’d be surprised if you haven’t already! Also works great with music videos.
Anything you don’t own? Download them on the go using your iPhone’s iTunes app then copy them to the computer from your iPhone later!
Add Ringtones and Alarm Tones
Note – these will only work on iPhone, not on iPod Touch!
